We are delighted to announce the arrival of our new website. The past few months have been a whirlwind of activity leading up to the launch and we are thrilled that we can finally share it with you.
We love flicking through interior design magazines… We can plan how we would redesign our kitchens and homes in funky new ways. These days there are so many important factors to consider including choosing a floor that is good for the environment. Check out five of our favourites.

It has been a few months since we’ve updated you with all things Rivendell. A lot has been going on… One of our staff has got married so congratulations to her and we have taken on a new sales guy Alan who you may have already met. If you haven’t you’re sure to see him driving around Bristol in our little Rivendell van!
On the 23rd of January this year the team from Rivendell Carpet and Flooring visited the Interiors Fair in Birmingham. One the UK’s largest interiors exhibitions. It was a great opportunity to have a look at the latest new products to furnish your home with. There were lots of new wood ranges and luxury carpets to make your home more stylish. Please ask our sales staff about new ranges and alternative flooring ideas. Rivendell pride themselves on being aware of the latest trends in flooring so that you can benefit from their knowledge and expertise.
Everyone seems to be going crazy about striped carpets. Trends in the last few years have tended to be for plain colours like your beiges and browns, but there seems to be something in the air, a need for something new.

Like many people we spent the weekend watching the highlights of Glastonbury festival. There’s are the big bands, the crazy people with in their face paints and most importantly there’s the mud. Now if only they had phoned Rivendell, we could have provided some artificial grass!
So why are we called Rivendell Carpets? Well it’s from the hugely successful Lord of the Rings trilogy by J. R. R. Tolkien which has also been made into a film featuring Elijah Wood, Ian McKellen, Orlando Bloom, Sean Bean and Viggo Mortensen.
