Beard Construction is an independent, long-established and award winning construction company with offices in Swindon, Oxford, Guildford and Bristol.

Beard needed a complete flooring overhaul in their Bristol headquarters, situated in the heart of Clifton. They needed flooring that was not only practical enough to withstand daily traffic, but would also look great to visually enhance the building and create a memorable impression with clients and other visitors.

Products Used

A variety of products were used across the various rooms at Beard’s HQ. Following an initial meeting, Rivendell worked in partnership with Beard’s interior designer to recommend the products, colours and styles based on their requirements and budget.

Carpet Tiles – For their meeting rooms, Beard required something that gave character to the room, without being too distracting for meetings. Carpet tiles were the obvious choice here, giving us a high-quality, durable flooring with a subtly intricate design.

Vinyl Flooring – Practicality was key in the kitchen areas of the building. We opted for vinyl flooring; water resistance, ease of cleaning, durability and hygiene were all properties that made it a great choice for these functional areas. 

Carpet – Carpet was laid on the staircases and corridors throughout the rest of the building. The carpet chosen was durable to ensure it did not wear down, whilst still providing underfoot comfort.

All work was completed within the agreed timescales, with minimal disruption to any of the staff working there throughout the project.
